Zonal Director, Fortis Hospitals
Dr Pinak Moudgil has assumed charge as zonal director for Fortis Hospital Noida and Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad. The two units together have around 410 beds.
In this capacity, Dr Pinak will report to Col Harinder S Chehal, COO –NCR, and will be based at Fortis Hospital, Noida. Dr Pinak has a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from BN Mandal university. He has also done a diploma in hospital management and diploma in medico legal from Pune University. In addition, Dr Pinak has completed a certificate course in management from IIM Ahmedabad.
He joined Fortis in March 2003 and worked in various critical positions and later took on the role of facility director for Forts Escorts Hospital, Amritsar. Dr Pinak has also successfully completed training as a part of the second batch of ‘Leadership Development Initiative’ in 2010
COO, Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre
Dr Akash Rajpal has taken charge as the COO of Mumbai’s Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre. His role entails heading operations of the 364-bed Jaslok Hospital, one of the leading multi specialty hospitals of western India.
With 20 years of rich experience in public and private healthcare sectors, he was director with MedKeyGroup prior to this. He has also worked as CTO of NeverMissAPatient.com, CEO of EKOHealth, Head of Hospital Consultancy in Hosmac, AGM Operations in Dr LH Hiranandani Hospital.
He was instrumental in getting the first NABH accreditation in the western region of India for Dr LH Hiranandani Hospital.
COO, Apollo- Guwahati
Abhijit Singh has assumed charge as unit level COO of the Guwahati unit of Apollo Hospitals.
He shall be responsible for overall operations of the unit and will also oversee the expansion of Apollo’s operations. There is a plan to add a new block including oncology and revamp the new facility.
Prior to this, Abhijit worked as project leader-strategic initiatives for over six years with Ludhiana’s SPS Hospital, one of the comprehensive hospitals in North India.
At SPS, he was responsible for strategy, value growth and expansions of the hospital. In addition, he was also responsible for the entire operational oversight at SPS.
He has pursued his Masters in Business Administration in strategy and finance from University of Western Australia, Perth and his Bachelors in Business Administration from Amity University.
