The National Health Mission (NHM), under its free diagnostic service initiative in collaboration with the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Assam, has announced the launch of free diagnostic CT Scan services for the people of Assam.
Assam becomes the first state in India to roll-out a statewide free CT diagnostic initiative. Under this PPP project, Spandan Diagnostic, the PPP partner for this project is implementing GE Healthcare’s Revolution ACTs 16-slice CT machine across Assam. Sixteen centres are ready and the remaining will be operational in the next three to four months. “We congratulate the Government of Assam for their vision and commitment to provide free diagnostic service to the people of Assam. With GE Healthcare as our technology partner, we are confident of bringing high-quality healthcare for all in the state,” said Piyush Pal, CMD, Spandan Diagnostic Centre (P) Limited.
