Medanta opens its first OPD facility in Kolkata

Medanta- The Medicity, Gurgaon has launched its first Neuro OPD facility in Kolkata. The facility will offer consultation for brain tumours, neurovascular disorders, brain strokes, parkinson’s disease and spine tumours amongst other neurosurgical disorders. Located at S.P.Mukherjee Road, The Medanta OPD centre was today inaugurated in the presence of eminent neurosurgeon, Dr Anirban Deep Banerjee and Dr Rishabh Kedia.

Equipped with modern machinery and latest technology, the OPD facility in association with Atulya Diagnostics will bridge the gap for patients not only from West Bengal but also from North East states and allow patients in far-flung and remote areas to seek medical opinion from super-specialists.

The new OPD launch is in sync of our initiative to reach out to such places and offer the best healthcare experience at an affordable price. We have been witnessing lots of patients from this region in our hospital in Gurgaon and that is why we have chosen to open an OPD centre in Kolkata. The OPD facility will not only offer preliminary consultation but also offer second opinion to the patients and act as a centre of continuity for care for patients who are required to travel regularly to far of places like Gurgaon for world class treatment.”     

Medanta plans to add more super specialities through this OPD Facility in Kolkata.
