Hip Replacement

Total Hip Replacement is a surgical procedure whereby the diseased articular surfaces are replaced with synthetic materials (Implants), thus relieving pain and improving joint kinematics and function. A ball, usually metal, will replace the worn head of your thighbone. A cup, usually plastic, replaces your hip socket.
